Fire Prevention Services

Fire Stopping

Fire stopping, also known as passive fire protection, will slow smoke and fire down, gaining precious time to contain the damage and protect your people. The most important element of fire stopping is compartmentation: the division of a building into separate fire zones, effectively containing a fire at its source and reducing the risk of it spreading.

We will audit your property and specify, source and implement exactly what you need for adequate protection and compartmentation including:

  • Fire Stopping and sealing where services go through walls and floors
  • Fire Doors: steel and timber door sets
  • Compartmentation below floors and above ceilings
  • Fire walls and curtains
  • Cavity barriers
  • Structural steel fire upgrading: intumescent paint and sprays to steel beams and columns
  • Surveys: passive fire protection surveys and stock condition surveys

We have a network of trusted suppliers from whom we source and we will project-manage specification, sourcing and installation for you.

Our fire stopping service not only protects your assets but can save you money too: we strip out unnecessary waste, specify accurately and source at competitive prices.
